Incognito

The brisk offshore winds had me donning a hoodie this morning. I felt like Laurence Fishburne going Deep Cover with my hoodie and tele-zoom. Anyway, the offshore winds were a pleasant surprise, especially considering the winds were supposed to jack everything up today. It was definitely on the smaller side, but a lower tide would have had me kicking myself for not bringing my gear.

You can't see me. haha

Foggy? Yes. Fun? Eh, Not so Much.

I was hoping to get the tail end of the swell that we had this weekend. Mother Nature had different plans, though, and provided some gnarly fog instead. I decided to make the most of it; after all, I couldn't let a mid-week day off go to waste.

Special thanks to all the military veterans on this Veterans' Day.

Fall Session

I had a decent sesh for the first time in a long time today. It definitely felt like a fall sesh with the water being a little colder since my last sesh.

MIA

With a bunch of things happening all at once lately, I've been missing in action for the past month. Here's to more surfing in the near future!

Hawaii Bound... Brah!

I found a good deal on flights to Hawaii, and I couldn't let it slip by. What's even better than the price I paid, though, is the time that I'm going to Hawaii - in the middle of the winter season! You don't have to be a seasoned surfer to know what happens in Hawaii during the winter.

If you're looking for a good deal to Hawaii, check out Pleasant Holidays. $299 for a round trip to Oahu (or Maui) plus a rental car for three days.

Bummer of a Sesh

There were some nice nuggets coming through, but I decided to cut my sesh short because of some bad vibes.

A Good Start to the Work Week

I took a half day-off this morning to take advantage of the new lens that I've being using for the past few days. As I sat on the pier taking pictures and enjoying the cool ocean breeze, I thought to myself "I could do this for the rest of my life", then I snapped backed to reality and remembered something called "work". Speaking of which, I only took a half day-off, so I better get to it...
