Waipio Valley

It was one of those sessions where the waves looked better from shore than they really were. I swam around for a little while before I decided to call it a morning.

After our morning surf sesh, my buddy and I decided to take a cruise to Waipio Valley. On the way back from Waipio Valley, we decided to check out a few other spots, too. It had been a while since I cruised out to Waipio Valley and many of the spots that we checked out were spots that I visited for the first time in my life, including the bottom of Waipio Valley.

Just me, my farmer's tan, and I. lol

In Hawaii, a flying fist or two, or in this case, a flying rock, will often resolve a problem.

Bought a bag of homemade beef jerky from some local braddah on the side of the road. Was ono!

A Morning Stroll

I didn't catch a sesh today, but I did go for a short morning stroll around Coconut Island. Here are a few pics from my morning stroll:

Holoholo

I flew into Hawaii yesterday. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: It's always nice to be home!

As evidenced by my lack of blog posts, it's been a very busy year for me. This vacation will provide me with some much needed r&r, which I definitely look forward to!

Are we there yet?
