Last Post of 2011

I hope you all had a great 2011! Here's to a great 2012, too!

A little inconsistent, but otherwise fun surf session (based on the hooting and hollering coming from the guys in the water when the sets came through).

Foggy

It was super foggy out there this morning. Yup, that's pretty much it.

Have Your Cake and Eat it Too

If having today off was the cake, the weather and surf conditions certainly were the icing on top of it. This morning was a quintessential California day - clear sunny weather complimented by a nice cool breeze. The surf was pretty good too - a combo swell that stayed clean until I left mid-morning.

A Corner Here, A Corner There

I didn't check out the surf yesterday, but from what I heard, it was pretty much walled. I was expecting this morning to be much of the same, but there were actually a few corners out there.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

Posting Just to Post

I usually don't get to blog as often as I would like to. So when I do get a chance to blog, I'm pretty indiscriminate with what I post. Case in point: Today's post.

I was debating whether or not to post today's stuff since I wasn't really happy with the results. But since I'm just sitting around doing nothing while I await Santa Claus' visit, I figure I might as well past the time with some blogging.

Merry Christmas!

On the Second Day of Christmas...

the city gave to me: Two hours of free parking...

Not much out there today, but hopefully we'll get a Christmas gift or two in the form of waves.

Wardrobe Malfunction

In case I forgot, the cold water flushes caused by the puka in the okole of my wetsuit reminded me just how cold the water was this morning. I guess it's time for a new suit... and a hood... and some gloves... and some booties... and a heater...

Trying to get my Clark Little on in the shorebreak. Ha

A foamy little tube.

Literally inside looking out is a lot better than figuratively outside looking in.
