This summer sure feels a lot like last summer with the lack of waves, overcast skies and cool temperatures. If it really is anything like last summer, we should have better surf and clear conditions from here on out, fortunately.
Speaking of which, it was nice and clear this morning, and the waves were bigger than I expected them to be.
Bruddah Al back from the 808 and back into the swing of things.
Revo off the section
Nick reminding me of shots of the legendary Keith Sasaki when he used to drop knee with a straight wrist leash. Nick's leash is actually a coiled wrist leash, but in this pic, it almost looks like a straight leash. Oh, by the way, Nick landed this - he was ripping it up today.
I wanted to check out the BIA comp at Goldenwest this morning to support Nick, but duties called, so I was unable to make it.
The good thing is I found some time in the afternoon to wander around, so I decided to check out a certain spot.
Congrats to Nick - he placed first in DK.
